With a new mobile ordering solution, Manchester-based foodservice specialist Restaurant Wholesale – part of the £125-million Seamark plc group – has enabled customers to place orders anytime from anywhere. This is continuing to drive strong business despite the dual impact of Brexit and Covid-19.

The new smartphone app is seamlessly integrated into the company’s intuitive and powerful IT solution which comprises STL’s Merchandise Management System (MMS), Sales Order Processing (SOP) system and tills. The open and agile technology platform has continued to adapt to support the wholesaler as it has added and expanded depots, delivery routes and a new click-and-collect service.
