Andrew Lilley has joined STL as Project Manager to help our customers achieve their business goals through smooth and efficient IT installations.

The serial property renovator is a natural process-driven problem-solver – and that’s also translated into a 20+-year career of helping businesses adopt and adapt the latest IT capabilities to build a momentum for their future.

Some of his proudest professional achievements include:

  • Leading the implementation of TVS’ advanced Warehouse Management System for Centrica, including the development and integration of new mobile app and robotic picking capabilities
  • Onboarding Tesco to a TVS supply chain solution nationwide, and
  • Automating some 75 service yards worldwide for CHEP (of global blue-pallet fame).

Along the way, he’s established new business units for his employers and new software solutions for customers – while earning a reputation for strong project governance, clear communication and team leadership.

His ability to lead, develop and deliver complex, multi-site enterprise and end-point software projects under pressure, on time and within budget is no surprise to anyone who knows him. As a former triathlete, outdoors adventurer and junior football team manager he knows how to maintain disciplined control of the details while keeping sight of the big picture, as well as a relentless – and infectious – commitment to kicking goals for customers.

Now, reporting to our Sales Director Clive Mallender, Andrew’s approach to STL projects will also incorporate the unique STL PRO methodology. This robust yet flexible six-stage process was designed specifically for wholesale operations to ensure that we deliver IT solutions with minimum disruption and maximum transparency, so helping our customers more rapidly realise a return on their investment.

He said,

‘The wholesale sector is under intense pressure on multiple fronts – from rising costs and supply chain disruption to recruitment shortfalls and regulatory complexity. But I know that, with STL’s sector-leading solutions and smart project planning, we can help operators overcome all those challenges to build even bigger, stronger and more resilient futures. I can’t wait to get cracking.’
