Bristol-based Chapple & Jenkins has gone live with STL Evo in its second depot after it acquired Lansdell Soft Drinks in Kent. Executives now have full visibility of both depots from one screen.  The next-generation business management solution has already delivered substantial efficiency gains.

As well as being easy to use, customise and manage, Evo has some features Chapple & Jenkins particularly likes, such as:

  • Goods Inwards Diary, which boosts warehouse employees’ efficiency by advising what’s due and when, or overdue
  • The combined replenishment and PO creation facility, which saves time and avoids a point of potential error
  • The dynamic route planner, which enables its team to optimise the cost-efficiency of its deliveries without impacting service standards
  • Seamless integration with its Sage accounting software and b2b.store eCommerce app, which avoids the need to rekey data
  • Automated software upgrades, security updates and regulatory compliance
  • Intuitive reporting, which has given decision-makers insights into promotion performance and purchasing trends.

All this has reduced Chapple & Jenkins’ operational costs and administrative demands, enabling it to do more with the same resources.
Chapple & Jenkins Director Martin Jenkins said,

The roll-out was so successful that the new operation was motoring from the go-live, enabling me to return to our head office far sooner than anticipated.
