Congratulations to our longstanding customer, AG Parfett, on opening their 9th C&C Depot last week, in Southampton.
STL is proud to have played a role in the successful opening of this state-of-the-art facility, through the installation of our game-changing Point of Service system for wholesalers: STL POS Evo.
A new dawn in tilling
This revolutionary POS software system follows two years of close collaboration and trials with wholesalers. It’s packed with new functionality specially designed for wholesale trading, which provides a more efficient, helpful and accurate checkout experience while saving time and costs.
Ease-of-use is at its core, with a highly intuitive colour touchscreen and automatic emailing of sales receipts, which cut operator error and customer queuing time.
STL POS Evo also provides stock information from availability to promotional deals, and makes it quick and easy to answer any account queries – all at the touch of a button.
In an industry-first, the solution will work with any mainstream ERP or accounts system on any hardware platform. This gives operators enormous flexibility in reconfiguring their depot layout and kiosk design to improve customer flow and reduce queues.
Further, it has strong trading resilience which means operators can continue to sell even if there’s a problem with the Internet connection or back-office hardware: sales data will simply upload to the core system once connectivity is restored.
This STL innovation was incredibly well-received by the Parfetts Southampton team.
